$8.80 Bet Leads to $381K Jackpot at Thunder Valley Casino
LINCOLN, Calif. – A Thunder Valley Casino Resort guest won $381,009 on Saturday after placing an $8.80 slot bet.
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:The payout adds another large jackpot to the California casino’s recent run of slot wins. A spokesperson for Thunder Valley said the guest was playing a 10-cent Dancing Drums slot machine when the Grand Progressive jackpot was triggered during bonus spins.
Dawn Clayton, General Manager of Thunder Valley Casino Resort, said large wins create a memorable moment for both the player and the casino floor.
“One of the things that makes jackpots so exciting is imagining what that moment means for the guest”, Clayton said. “A win like this can create memories that last a lifetime, and it brings incredible energy and excitement to the entire casino.”

Thunder Valley Reports Frequent Jackpot Activity
Thunder Valley said guests have won more than 251,000 jackpots at the property over the last year. The casino said that figure represents millions of dollars in payouts and averages close to one jackpot every two minutes.
The latest win came from Dancing Drums, a popular slot title known for bonus features and progressive prize potential. Progressive jackpots can grow as more players place wagers, with top prizes often exceeding standard fixed payouts.

Thunder Valley Casino Resort features 3,500 slot machines and 89 table games, including poker and high-limit options. The property also includes a 17-story hotel with 408 rooms and suites.

The casino has not released the winner’s name.
