The payout adds another large jackpot to the California casino’s recent run of slot wins. A spokesperson for Thunder Valley said the guest was playing a 10-cent Dancing Drums slot machine when the Grand Progressive jackpot was triggered during bonus spins.
Dawn Clayton, General Manager of Thunder Valley Casino Resort, said large wins create a memorable moment for both the player and the casino floor.

Thunder Valley said guests have won more than 251,000 jackpots at the property over the last year. The casino said that figure represents millions of dollars in payouts and averages close to one jackpot every two minutes.
The latest win came from Dancing Drums, a popular slot title known for bonus features and progressive prize potential. Progressive jackpots can grow as more players place wagers, with top prizes often exceeding standard fixed payouts.

The casino has not released the winner’s name.
