Antonino Barra Joins Altenar as Head of Sales
Sportsbook software provider Altenar has appointed former Chief Operating Officer of Together Gaming Antonino Barra as its new Head of Sales.
Prior to joining Altenar, Barra spent five years working at Together Gaming, where he served as key Account Manager for less than two years and, most recently, COO for three years.
Barra has also worked as a chief operating officer and partner at the Eligence Consulting Group. His rich career also included a stint as Operations Manager at gaming software development company ArenaCube.
In his new role, Barra will oversee Altenar’s expansion across northern Europe and other emerging markets.
I am really happy to join Altenar in my new role; I have worked in the igaming field for nearly a decade now, so am well-equipped to assist the company in its efforts for continued expansion. I can bring a good operational knowledge in terms of both operating a platform and establishing the connections necessary to run a successful business in the casino and sportsbook industries.
Commenting on the appointment, a spokesperson at Altenar said, “Utilising his years of experience in the iGaming industry, Antonino is sure to prove vital in developing effective growth strategies for us to implement over the coming years.”
Over the past few months, Altenar has had a good run in its business. It recently got a license to operate in Ontario. In September 2022, the company also won the Best Sports Betting Provider at the CEEG Awards, two months after partnering with Casino 777 to supply the operator with a sportsbook platform.
