Aspire Global to Offer Sports Bets in Denmark

Online casino solutions provider Aspire Global has been granted a betting license by the Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden).

Aspire Global, which is nearing its final stages of talks with NeoGames in an acquisition deal, is the latest supplier to be licensed by the Spillemyndigheden.

The iGaming supplier is present in more than 30 regulated markets across Europe, America, and Africa. It has footprints in countries like the Ul, US, Portugal, Nigeria, Denmark, Spain, Columbia, Mexico, and Ireland.

Although Aspire Global has gained a foothold in Latin America and Africa, it aims to expand its reach in the US and European markets.

By getting the Danish betting license, the business would add sports betting to its offering in Denmark, where it has been offering casino gambling since 2012.

Aspire Global acquired BtoBet, its betting platform, in October 2020, meaning operators in Denmark will now be able to benefit from BtoBet’s sportsbook-led technology and features.

Tsachi Maimon - CEO at Aspire Global

Our offering has been considerably bolstered up by the acquisition of BtoBet and its proprietary sportsbook. We see significant growth opportunities by offering both existing partners and new customers across the world a leading comprehensive gaming offering covering the technology platform, sportsbook, games, games aggregation, and managed services.

This development is coming hot on the heels of a bid of SEK4.3bn submitted by NeoGames to take over the company.
