bet365 has broadened its fantasy sports collaboration with Scout Gaming Group by introducing a free-to-play product named 'Daily Lineups' in North America. In this innovative offering, bet365 users in Virginia, Ohio, Colorado, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Ontario, Canada, can now assemble their own teams and engage in competitive point-based contests across major sports such as football, basketball, and baseball.

How Daily Lineups Works

Access to the free-to-play 'Daily Lineups' is conveniently available through the Bet365 website, under the dedicated tab. Users must adhere to specific rules, terms, and conditions associated with the gameplay.

Participants earn points based on the real-world performances of players on their selected teams, and the winnings are distributed to customers in the form of either bonus bets or cash. The platform encompasses a variety of popular American sports, including football, basketball, baseball, golf and more.

The expansion of bet365's free-to-play offerings in North America marks a significant extension of its existing collaboration with Scout Gaming. The partnership, initiated in 2022, has witnessed the deployment of fantasy sports games by bet365 across five continents, with a particular focus on real-money prize competitions for the English Premier League.

In anticipation of the 2023-24 Premier League season, bet365, in conjunction with Scout Gaming Group, unveiled an exclusive fantasy football game last July. Managers were granted the flexibility to select and modify their teams until the commencement of the first Premier League game.

That bet365 Fantasy Game boasted an impressive prize pool, with the top 10,000 ranking users eligible for a share of £500,000 (US$636,900), including a £50,000 (US$63,690) top prize for the outright winner. The allure of the game was further enhanced by the inclusion of an extra £65,000 (US$82,797) in monthly prizes for the top 1,000 ranking managers each month.

bet365 Gains an Edge

Reflecting on the North American launch, a bet365 spokesperson expressed excitement about the collaboration with Scout Gaming Group, highlighting the latter's leadership in fantasy sports. The spokesperson emphasized the crucial role played by Scout Gaming Group's range of technologies, products, and services in the expansion of the 'Daily Lineups' for eligible bet365 customers.

Niklas Jönsson, the CEO of Scout Gaming Group, acknowledged the competitive nature of the North American market and the substantial opportunities available for fantasy sports providers and operators. He underscored the successful localization of a highly competitive free-to-play product, positioning it strategically in a region characterized by considerable competition and a vast market.

In terms of financial performance, bet365 recently reported a noteworthy 19% increase in revenue for the 52 weeks leading up to March 26, 2023. However, this positive financial growth was accompanied by a $76.4-million loss, attributed to significant investments made by the company in the US market.
