Betano in Strategic Partnership with Romanian Football
In the online gambling industry, partnerships go hand in hand, with these becoming more and more popular over the last decade. While it could be argued that one or two companies effectively set a precedent for sports partnerships or sponsorships, there may be quite a few board room executives that disagreed with this.
The very latest in iGaming sports partnerships comes as Kaizen-owned Betano agrees to a multi-year partnership with the Romanian Football Federation in what can only be described as a tactical move in order to gain favor with more potential customers in a market that has a lot of possibilities over the next few years.
Betano itself has proven to be a popular and robust iGaming site over the last couple of years and has launched in a number of key European markets as its brand presence swiftly increases.
Significant Step for Betano
The terms of the agreement will see the brand sponsor a new football competition in the country, named the 'Romanian Cup Betano,' with this available to every club in the country and which will see its matches televised around the nation.

Meanwhile, Razvan Burleanu, president of the Romanian Football Federation, disclosed how much the landscape of the sport in the country could change following the deal, commenting: By implementing a new, modern, competitive format, one that is much more attractive and more dynamic, we expect to improve the level of play and strengthen the clubs' relationships with their supporters. I am sure that in the coming years, the support of our new main partner will contribute to the growth of this popular event.
