888’s SI Sportsbook Goes Live in Virginia
Leading global sportsbook and iGaming operator 888 Holdings has launched a Sports Illustrated Sportsbook in Virginia.
The sportsbook will incorporate 888’s proprietary technology with Sports Illustrated’s brand to give bettors an exciting gambling experience.
According to the operator, the sportsbook will also feature enhanced live betting markets from popular sporting leagues, like the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NASCAR, and the English Premier League.
Virginia is the second state the operator will unveil its sportsbook after debuting it in Colorado in September 2021.
However, 888 has made known its plans to keep expanding its sportsbook across the regulated markets of the US. It is already putting the necessary things to ensure that the SI Sportsbook rolls out to other states in the coming months.
We are delighted to launch SI Sportsbook in Virginia. Following the success of its debut launch in Colorado last September, this is an important milestone for both ourselves and our partners. With its growing base of sports betting fans, we believe Virginia will play a significant role in the continued development of SI Sportsbook over the coming months.
888 has also inked an agreement with Virtual Entertainment Partners (VEP) in line with its Virginian expansion. VEP is a small, female-owned company with 100% African American ownership. Through the partnership, 888 will make significant contributions to communities across Virginia, especially areas with high minority populations.
