Betsson in Football Deal to Sponsor the Chilean First Division

Betsson, the iGaming and sportsbook provider, has announced a partnership with the National Association of Professional Football (ANFP) of Chile to sponsor the top-flight domestic league in the country, the Chilean First Division.

The partnership will see Betsson become the title sponsor of the Chilean league competition, which has been renamed the Campeonato Betsson.

This new deal further develops the existing relationship between Betsson and the ANFP. Previously Betsson sponsored the Ascenso Betsson tournament last year and had links with the Copa America for both men and women in the 2021 and 2022 seasons, respectively.

The operator has also been a keen supporter of football at a local level and the overall development of the game in the region.

We are pleased to sign this alliance with Betsson and are confident that the agreement will serve to enhance the promotion and development of Chilean football and of our tournament. We look forward to the 2023 competition, set to commence this Friday, which we are sure will be a highly engaging and captivating experience for the fans, as a result of the high stakes and the clubs’ efforts to be the leading contenders.

Betsson has successfully been pursuing a strategy of football-related sponsorship and follows its recent extension of the operator’s sponsorship agreement in Peru.
