iGaming operator BetVictor has unveiled its plans for a comprehensive corporate identity rebranding under the new name "BVGroup."

In its official press release on Wednesday, the company stated that the new identity will come with a new company logo already visible on the BVGroup corporate website.

Through the rebranding, the company seeks to merge its multiple verticals, including gaming operators and B2B technology solution providers, under a unified governance structure. This strategic decision aims to recognize the successful accomplishments of BetVictor in the past while establishing a solid foundation for the group's continued expansion.

As part of its forward-looking growth strategy, BV Group has reaffirmed its commitment to managing and operating its BetVictor brand and the recently launched Wiz Slots brand.

Additionally, BV Group will continue to provide innovative solutions to its partner operators, including talkSPORT BET, Heart Bingo, BildBet, and Parimatch UK brands. These initiatives reflect the company's proactive approach to cultivating and nurturing its diverse portfolio of brands.

During our 75-plus years in business, we have established ourselves as one of the most reputable gambling companies in the world. Our new identity, BVGroup, helps us define ourselves more effectively, highlighting how far the company has come from its bookmaker beginnings. While we remain intensely proud of our heritage, our focus is always on the future and how we can continue to innovate and grow to best serve our customers and partners. BVGroup is an exciting development in the progress of the company.

Evolving Over the Years

This is not the first time the company has rebranded its identity. In 2004, the company, initially established as a bookmaking business, was rebranded "VC Bet." In late 2008, the company's name was changed to "Victor Chandler."

Four years later, the company rebranded itself again as BetVictor to ensure uniformity and brand recognition across global markets.

2014 saw the business changing hands when a major shareholder of Victor Chandler International, Michael Tabor, took over the company. A few months later, former bwin-party executive Meinrad became the CEO of the business and has remained in that role ever since.

Guided by Meinrad's leadership, the company has ventured beyond its original scope and expanded into new domains, such as providing sportsbook solutions to media companies to aid their entry into the iGaming market.

BVGroup is currently licensed in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, Germany, Malta, Gibraltar, and Ontario in Canada.
