Blueprint Gaming Brings Maradona to the Reels with New Licensing Deal

Blueprint Gaming, the iGaming content developer, is well known for its branded content and the developer has now received a license to feature the famous Argentinian footballer Diego Maradona in an upcoming slot release.

The slot is named D10S Maradona, which combines the Spanish word for ‘god’ together with the player’s number 10 shirt. It is set to be released on 17 November and there are high hopes that it will enjoy the same success as many of Blueprint’s previous branded releases such as Deal or No Deal, Ted, The Goonies, and Rick & Morty.

Maradona won the World Cup with Argentina in 1986. Over the course of his career, he scored 259 goals including one that was voted FIFA’s Goal of the Century in 2002. The upcoming slot is set to be packed with images and symbols inspired by Maradaona’s career.

Maradona is another huge brand that we’ve been entrusted with, and I have no doubt our development team will once again craft a slot that treats a globally loved icon with the utmost attention to detail and authenticity. D10S Maradona™ will be launched ahead of the biggest sporting event on the calendar and represents a fantastic opportunity for operators to make the most of the global football fever. It’s a title we’re incredibly excited about and a licence we’re honoured to be working on.

Matías Morla, a Maradona brand agent, explained that they had “no hesitation” agreeing to the partnership with Blueprint due to the developer’s reputation for “carefully curating games which stay true to their branding and uphold their characteristics”. He added, “we thoroughly look forward to seeing the game launch featuring the greatest player of all time and an Argentinian legend.”
