Bragg Gaming Licensed for Ontario Market

Bragg Gaming has received a gaming supplier license to launch its products and services in the Ontario iGaming market.

The firm was granted a license by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) after fulfilling all regulatory requirements. Through the approval, it would be able to partner with licensed operators and feature its games in Ontario when the market goes live on April 4.

According to the gaming supplier, getting the license to launch in Ontario is significant as it offers a “significant untapped potential for Bragg” to exhibit its content and platform technology in the jurisdiction.

The license will also allow the company to make progress in a region with a “strong interest from a deep mix of local, and US and international-based operators with both land-based and online backgrounds.”

Ontario is set to launch its iGaming market next month with several approved operators. The newly regulated market is estimated to boost the Canadian iGaming and online sports betting industry, which is estimated to hit $2bn this year.

This license is another milestone achievement for Bragg. Hot on the heels of our recent launches in the UK, which has similar regulatory standards to Ontario, and the Netherlands, where we successfully launched local partner brands on our PAM, as well as content and aggregation products, we are now fully ready to support our Canadian partners as the market prepares to open up.

Last week, the company also secured a supplier license in the Bahamas to supply licensed Bahamian operators with games for players in the jurisdiction.
