Caesars Roll Out Internet and Mobile Sportsbook in Puerto Rico
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Leading sportsbook operator Caesars Entertainment has gone live with its mobile sportsbook in Puerto Rico.
With the latest development, sports bettors and enthusiasts in the US province can now place bets on Caesars Sportsbook mobile betting app or the operator’s website.
However, for an initial period, only the citizens of Puerto Rico will be able to access the app and website. In the coming months, the operator will extend the offers to non-residents visiting the jurisdiction.
According to Caesars, the app and website will feature its Rewards loyalty program, where players can earn tier credits for every bet placed and convert them into memorable experiences at various Caesars Entertainment destinations.
The online offering comes after the land-based Caesars Sportsbook opened at Casino Metro in December 2022. Recently, the establishment was rebranded as ‘MetroBets with Caesars Sportsbook.’

Influx of New Operators
In recent months, several online gambling operators have launched in Puerto Rico. BetMGM was the first to go live in the jurisdiction in partnership with Casino del Mar at La Concha Resort.
The company was followed by Puerto Rico-based operator ZingSports, who teamed up with sports betting software developer SB22 to introduce sports wagering services.
In March, newly established operator Ballers Sportsbook announced its plans to launch in the market via its agreement with Sportradar.
