The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) has announced it is to promote the European Safer Gambling Week (ESGW23), and the week-long event is to be held from the 13th to 19th of November, later this year.

This is the third year of the event, which states it is cross-border, and during the week, there will be a variety of events and activities to raise awareness of the issue of safer gambling.

The ESGW23 will be organized by members of the EGBA who come from regulators throughout Europe, including the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) in the UK, iGaming Executives Network (iGEN) in Malta, and the Asociación Española de Juego Digital (JDigital) based in Spain. The EGBA stresses that the members will be able to share information on safer gambling with each other, and this should lead to all members keeping abreast of all the latest developments.

This event shows that regulatory bodies throughout the European regulated gaming markets are serious about promoting safer gambling and are prepared to work together to create a responsible environment for the gambling public in the region.

We’re delighted to announce the third edition of the European Safer Gambling Week. As an organization, EGBA and its members are committed to promoting a strong culture of safer gambling every day, and during the week itself, you can expect to see a concerted effort across Europe to raise awareness about safer gambling. The initiative provides a fantastic opportunity for Europe’s gambling sector to come together to promote an issue of common importance: safer gambling.
