Evoplay Comes to the Aid of Ukrainian Staff
Evoplay, the developer of online casino games, has announced that its emergency contingency plans for its Ukrainian team have been successfully enacted. Despite the disruption caused by the war in Ukraine, the developer is now able to continue its service as normal.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, Evoplay has moved 15% of its staff to Cyprus and organized new facilities near its new office, which opened in Lviv this week for members of staff who chose to remain in the country.
Evoplay has numerous partners, stakeholders, and team members in Ukraine. The company has been making donations to causes that support the local population and volunteering schemes that work to improve the situation on the ground.
Furthermore, Evoplay has launched a fund for its entire staff. All team members based in Ukraine are receiving financial and logistical support to help them relocate to safer regions in the country. Similarly, the company is helping those who wish to relocate to Cyprus.
Numerous members of the Evoplay team have joined the volunteering and relief efforts, and the company has given unlimited leave and financial support to those who have done.
Evoplay has said that it will not continue operations as usual from its locations across Europe, ensuring that its game development plan can continue on schedule.
As a Ukrainian company at heart and true advocates of world peace, we can not stand idle at such a challenging time and have pledged to support the Ukrainian relief effort in any way we can. We will channel every resource we have at our disposal into efforts to rehouse our Ukraine-based team members. Supporting the wider needs of Ukraine during such a dark time in our history is the least we could do, and we pledge to do everything we can to support humanitarian efforts on the ground as the situation develops. We thank all of our friends and partners for their kind words of support.
