FanDuel Announces Asaf Noifeld as Managing Director of Its Casino Business
The FanDuel Group, a subsidiary of the Flutter Group (LON: FLTR), has appointed Asaf Noifeld as its new Managing Director of its casino business. This position is newly created and part of Noifeld’s role is to oversee the expansion of the group’s online casino business.
FanDuel operates several FanDuel brand casinos in the US states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, and Ontario, Canada. Plus, its online gaming and sports betting operation has a 17 million customer base throughout North America.
Asaf brings deep experience building online casino businesses across the globe, I am delighted to add him to our leadership team, as he has extensive knowledge in the space which will help grow our online casino business in North America.
Noifeld comes from PokerStars where he served as Managing Director of its casino for the past eight years. This followed the industry experience he gained from his roles at 888 Casino. PokerStars is also a subsidiary of the Flutter Group, so this appointment is an internal move within the overall group.
Noifeld helped build the PokerStars online casino from the ground up and then oversaw its expansion. FanDuel wants Noifeld to replicate this with its online casino.
