Felix Lai Lands New Job at GLI Asia
Felix Lai has been appointed as the new Customer Service Representative for Gaming Laboratories International’s (GLI) Asia location. GLI is one of the premier independent testing and certification companies in the iGaming industry, granting certificates for sportsbook products, bookmaker and iGaming apps, account management platforms, and so on. It's not an official government institution like the UKGC or MGA, but it's accreditations are valuable to such regulators.
Lai will be tasked with assisting the company’s clients throughout the region. He brings with him more than 10 years of experience in the industry, working in both Macau and the Philippines. Based at GLI Asia’s new Macau office, Lai will collaborate with clients and help them harness the “evolving future of gaming by taking full advantage of GLI’s exclusive integrated approach to compliance.”
GLI said that Lai brings with him a “rich and diverse” work history, which includes experience on both the casino floor and in the casino cage. He has also worked with slot developers and non-gaming companies for both the online and offline industries.
At Red Point Technology, Lai worked as Manager of Business Development. Prior to that, he worked for the slot developer Solis Group in the same role, and he also held the same position for the business, retail, and catering sides of Meg-Star International.
Also contributing to Lai’s experience are years spent working as Assistant Manager of Business Development for Suncity Group and as Operations Manager for Century Oriental, where he managed the daily operations of the casino gambling hall.
