This commercial extravaganza, now in its third edition, will take place on June 1 and 2 at the prestigious Punta Cana Club, located within The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club. GAT Caribe 2023 has garnered significant attention, with key players from the casino and lottery industry, including officials from the Dirección de Casinos y Juegos de Azar del Ministerio de Hacienda of the Dominican Republic, confirming their attendance.
Having the support of the Dominican Republic's regulator, through the representatives of the Directorate of Casinos and Gaming, is significant for GAT Caribe. It demonstrates the event's standing and the confidence placed in its organization. In just three years, GAT Caribe has become a prominent gathering for industry leaders in the region. This recognition is especially noteworthy considering the opportunities and challenges faced by an industry undergoing a remarkable recovery and experiencing an unprecedented surge in tourism. GAT Caribe will witness the participation of notable Dominican associations such as the Asociación Dominicana de Casinos de Juegos (ADCJ), Asociación Dominicana de Bancas Deportivas (ADOBAD), and the Federación Nacional de Bancas de Loterías (FENABANCA). Invitations have also been extended to regulatory bodies from Colombia (Coljuegos) as well as representatives from Panama, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.
The event's program features two exciting days of activities. On June 1, the Networking session will take place on the picturesque beach of the Westin Hotel from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This networking opportunity has already attracted participants from Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Costa Rica, Curacao, the United States, Jamaica, Panama, Peru, and various other countries. The session sets the stage for the productive connections that entrepreneurs, operators, manufacturers, and visitors will forge during GAT Caribe.
The following day, Friday, June 2, GAT Caribe will host two distinct activities. The first, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Punta Cana Club, will feature the GAT Caribe academic agenda. This includes five conferences and two-panel discussions, with confirmed attendance from prominent companies such as Pragmatic Play, Juancito Sport, Todo +, IGT, Merkur, Alfastreet, Novomatic, and more. Among the highlights will be the launch of Todo+, a multiservice network for lottery services, and the introduction of Mi Quinte+, a paramutual betting portfolio.
Noteworthy speaker Mobadoo will present on "New trends in video games and Esports." Their talk will delve into Esports betting in the virtual sector while exploring innovative retail strategies that combine multiple forms of betting in physical locations, complemented by live game broadcasts and engaging dynamics for players.
The second session of the day, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., will feature a comprehensive land-based and online exhibition. Attendees can expect an impressive showcase of slot machines and roulette tables, a "Mini-market of casinos," and a commercial meeting facilitating the exchange of products and services within the sector.
