Keanu Reeves' Band Dogstar Coming to Niagara Falls Casino

Acclaimed Canadian actor and musician Keanu Reeves is set to perform with his band Dogstar at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino Resort on October 4. Established in the 1990s, the alternative rock group features Reeves on bass, Bret Domrose handling the guitar, and Rob Mailhouse behind the drums.

Following a short stint and the release of two acclaimed albums, the band went on hiatus in the early 2000s, coinciding with the surge in Reeves' cinematic fame due to "The Matrix." Reuniting amid the pandemic, Dogstar delivered its first live performance in over two decades in May and embarked on a North American tour in August.

Dogstar Making Waves

Coinciding with their tour, Dogstar is set to release a new album in October titled "Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees." Moreover, just two days after Dogstar's performance, another Canadian music heavyweight, Blue Rodeo, will take the OLG Stage on October 6.

They will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of "Five Days in July," playing the iconic album in full, complemented by an array of their other popular tracks. Debuted in 1993, "Five Days in July" stands as Blue Rodeo's fifth and most triumphant album, boasting hit tracks such as "Hasn't Hit Me Yet," "Bad Timing," and "Five Days in May." This celebrated record achieved 6X Platinum status in Canada.

Tickets go on sale Friday, August 25.

Fallsview to Host Grey Cup Awards

This fall, the Canadian Football League's Gray Cup program comes to Niagara Falls. Hamilton, Canada will take on the role of hosting the Canadian Football Championship on November 19. Once the curtains close on the show, attendees will make their way to the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino, boasting a capacity of 5,000 seats, for a live concert.
