Light & Wonder, a prominent player in the gaming industry, announced today that Connie James, its Executive Vice President (EVP), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Treasurer, and Corporate Secretary, will be stepping down from her roles and leaving the company effective August 25.

James' departure comes because of her desire to explore a new career path outside the gaming industry.

Following her departure, Oliver Chow, Light & Wonder's current Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance, will assume the position of CFO on an interim basis. This arrangement will allow the gaming company sufficient time to identify and appoint a new permanent CFO. Light & Wonder has engaged the services of a prominent firm to assist in the search for a suitable candidate.

Chow joined Light & Wonder in October 2022, bringing with him over 15 years of leadership experience in the entertainment and gaming industry from companies like Aristocrat, Universal Pictures and more.
