Light & Wonder Names Oliver Chow as New Chief Financial Officer
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Light & Wonder (L&W), one of the leading games providers in the industry, has announced that Oliver Chow has been appointed permanently to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the company. He also takes on the additional titles of Executive Vice President and Treasurer.
Chow becomes CFO, having spent a brief spell as the Interim CFO at Light & Wonder, and this follows a year where he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance since joining the company in 2022.
Oliver Chow has had a long career in the industry and has more than fifteen years in leadership positions in finance at big-name companies, including Universal Pictures, Deluxe Entertainment Services, and JPMorgan Chase. His latest role before joining Light & Wonder, was at Aristocrat, where he served as CFO for the Americas division.
Chow has expressed his delight at receiving the appointment of CFO and his eagerness on the future collaboration with the board to move the company forward.

Board Complete a Thorough Search for CFO
The Board at Light & Wonder stated they had carried out an extensive search in the industry before appointing Chow to the role, and during his time as Interim CFO, Chow has demonstrated the leadership skills the management at the company was looking for.
Senior management at Light & Wonder thinks Chow showed an ability to successfully undertake a wide range of tasks and feels these characteristics fit in perfectly with the direction the company is looking towards.
