NOVOMATIC Focuses on Mexico with Appointment of Commercial Director

Crown Gaming Mexico, NOVOMATIC’s Mexican supplier unit, has appointed a new commercial director as the company seeks to expand its operations in the region.

Enrique Manjarrez is set to join NOVOMATIC, and he brings with him more than two decades of experience in the industry. Manjarrez began his career with Scientific Games in 2006, where he worked as a field service engineer and in QA. After a year, he was promoted to commercial manager and then, in 2012, made the move to American Gaming Systems.

Following two years as a marketing manager for American Gaming Systems, Manjarrez became marketing director for Sunny Group of Companies. Most recently, he worked for Aurify as brand director and product director from 2019 to 2022 before moving to sales and product director for Mexico last year.

Manjarrez Excited by New Opportunities

In expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Manjarrez stated:

I am excited to be part of one of the largest gaming technology companies in the world. NOVOMATIC is known for its quality products and innovations.

Manjarrez said that he is grateful to be able to work both as part of a global company and work in his home country.

Thomas Schmalzer, NOVOMATIC VP of global sales and product management, also expressed excitement at the appointment of such a highly experienced person. He said that with Manjarrez on board, the company will be able to expand its local footprint. NOVOMATIC has been in Mexico for twenty years, and the company is eager for it to remain and grow.

Mexico isn’t the only country where NOVOMATIC is focusing its expansion efforts. Recently, it signed a deal with Tecnet Asia to strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
