Patrick Jonker Becomes the New CEO of HERO Gaming
Owner of Boom Casino and Simple Casino, Hero Gaming has reportedly appointed Patrick Jonker as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Patrick Jonker is a reputable professional in the online gaming sector with more than ten years of experience working in the industry.
Before taking this role, he was an international managing director at William Hill from 2019 till October last year, when the company confirmed that he’d made the decision to leave the company.
Prior to joining William Hill, he also worked as a managing director at Betsson group (STO: BETS-B) for five years. With his vast knowledge, the new role would be a breeze.
The CEO position at Hero Gaming was vacant before the company's board appointed Jonker. His predecessor, Tomas Backman, resigned from Hero Gaming in October 2021 after three years of serving as its chief executive.
The combination of his experience, his leadership qualities, and culture fit has made Patrick the ideal fit for us as a company for our next phase of growth, and we very much look forward to having him in his new role.
