Paysafe Enters Massachusetts’ Mobile Sports Betting Market

Paysafe, the popular payments platform, has announced that it has expanded into Massachusetts’ mobile sports betting market.

Bettors are now able to use Paysafe’s services at several of the state’s mobile sportsbooks, ensuring that they can make payments quickly and securely. Paysafe has been expanding its presence in the North American iGaming markets in recent times, and Massachusetts could be particularly lucrative, with the sports betting market expected to generate at least $300 million in first-year revenue.

The entry of Paysafe into the Massachusetts market represents an extension of its existing relationships with DraftKings Inc. and Caesars Entertainment Inc., as well as a number of other operators. Operators using the platform in Massachusetts will give their customers the ability to make fast and secure deposits using their debit cards through iOS and Android mobile sports betting apps.

Paysafe processes all transactions in seconds, and the platform will also give operators access to a number of alternative payment methods (APMs), including third-party solutions and Paysafe’s proprietary APMs.
