PENN Entertainment Partners with NHL as Sports Betting Partner

PENN Entertainment, the sports betting and casino provider, has announced a partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL), the premium hockey competition in North America, which will see the operator become the Official Sports Betting Partner of the sports franchise.

The agreement involves the online betting brands of PENN Entertainment, ESPN BET in the U.S., and theScore Bet in Ontario. Under the terms of the deal, both ESPN BET and theScore Bet will receive numerous benefits including media and marketing integrations across NHL matches. As well as IP rights and the opportunity to offer unique experiences on the NHL platform.

In further details from the announcement, the partnership will cover all matches in the NHL regular season and Stanley Cup playoffs. Other series included in the deal are the 2024 NHL Winter Classic, the 2024 NHL Stadium Series, and the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend.

ESPN BET Early Partnership Since Recent Launch

This agreement comes two weeks after the launch of the ESPN BET brand in North America on 14th November and is now live in 17 regulated states in the US. This means the massive sports audience at ESPN now has a chance to place a wager at the ESPN sportsbook powered by the PENN Entertainment technology.
