Playtech Names John Gleasure as Chair to Lead B2B Transition

Gleasure joins Playtech having been a Chief Business Officer at DAZN Group where he has worked since 2016, in a range of leadership roles within the business. Gleasure takes over the position of Chair from Brian Mattingley who will step down from the role after the AGM following many years of service.
Gleasure has more than three decades of experience in the sports, media, and technology sectors. During that time he has held senior roles in some the companies in these sectors including Sky Sports, Sony Pictures, and Hutchinson 3G.

Playtech to Focus on B2B Activities
Senior leadership at Playtech state that Gleasure is joining the business at a pivotal time for Playtech, with the company planning to focus on becoming a predominantly B2B gaming supplier. This strategy has led to Playtech deciding to sell its Italian omnichannel platform, Snaitech.

At the end of last year, Playtech and Veikkaus strengthened their collaboration of more than two decades by launching a Live Casino in Finland.
