Playtech Signs First US Retail Betting Deal with Gold Rush

Playtech has debuted in the US retail sports betting market through its new partnership with Gold Rush Gaming.

The agreement will see Playtech provide its sports betting kiosk software and management systems to Gold Rush in the state of Ohio.

The brands plan to initially deliver the kiosk systems to 50 locations and activate them before the start of the Super Bowl LVII on 12 February.

We are very pleased to partner with Playtech and leverage our joint expertise to launch kiosks in Ohio, a new and exciting market. We are bringing innovative content and best-in-class software to new players across the state. Our partnership is going from strength to strength, and we look forward to more exciting moments for our growth across the US in the near future.

The partnership marks Playtech’s entry into the retail sports betting market in the United States two years after it began its online gaming operations in the country. According to the developer, Ohio is just the starting place, and it hopes to expand across the US gaming market with different products.

Through this partnership, we will bring our extensive experience in retail sports betting to the US market for the first time. We’re confident that Ohio is the ideal place to start, leveraging our expertise and strong track record to deliver self-service betting kiosks across the state.
