Pragmatic Play Boosts African Presence with Goldrush Deal
Pragmatic Play, the iGaming content provider, has announced a major new deal with the South African operator Goldrush that is set to significantly increase its presence in the market.
The deal allows Goldrush to offer its players Pragmatic Play’s large portfolio of games that are approved by regulators like MGA and UKGC, including slots such as Wolf Gold, Gates of Olympus, Mustang Gold, Master Joker, and Aztec Treasure, as well as a number of table games. The operator will also have access to Pragmatic Play’s live dealer games, including the popular gameshow Sweet Bonanza CandyLand.
Goldrush is one of the largest gambling operators in South Africa with more than 20 years of experience behind it. Pragmatic Play has recently signed similar agreements with several operators in the country as it seeks to increase its footprint.

Yossi Barzely, the Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play, said that the company is “delighted” to be providing one of South Africa’s “preeminent operators” with its games. The deal was also welcomed by Dwain Powell, the Goldrush Managing Director. He called it a “proud moment” for the company and explained that the addition of Pragmatic Play’s live dealer games “ensures notably increased value for players who can now expect a modern, rewarding, entertaining and world-class product.”
