Pragmatic Play Expands South African Presence with World Sports Betting Deal
Pragmatic Play, one of the iGaming industry’s leading content providers, has boosted its reach within the South African market with a partnership with World Sports Betting.
The agreement covers a number of Pragmatic Play verticals all of which will be delivered simultaneously. One of the verticals is slots and it includes many of the developer’s award-winning titles. Included in the portfolio are recent games such as Striking Hot 5 and Happy Hooves together with player favorites such as Sweet Bonanza.
Pragmatic Play will also be supplying World Sports Betting with its live casino product, which includes casino classics such as roulette and blackjack, together with more innovative titles and gameshows such as Boom City.
The agreement covers a number of other RNG products such as Pragmatic Play’s scratch cards including Wolf Gold Scratchcard and Queen of Gold Scratchcard.
The deal is a sign of Pragmatic Play’s intention to expand in the African market and it follows a number of similar deals made with operators in numerous developing markets.

Warren Tannous, the Chief Executive Officer at World Sports Betting, said that they are “excited” about the partnership, as it will result in a “great addition” to the company’s existing offering. He added, “we look forward to being able to roll this out shortly.”
