Quickspin Announces Appointment of New CCO

Quickspin, the Swedish slot developer and part of the Playtech Group (LON: PTEC), has announced that it has promoted Anthony Dalla-Giacoma from the head of account management to chief commercial officer.

Over the course of his career, Dalla-Giacoma has worked in numerous commercial positions, account management, business development, and as a market-entry expert. He spent 10 years working in the IT industry, primarily in the UK, where he worked with research and consulting firm Gartner. He then made the move to gaming in 2013 when he joined NetEnt’s Malta office.

Speaking of his plans for his new role at Quickspin, Dalla-Giacoma said that receiving ISO certification and developing a proprietary platform last year were ‘game changers’ that have opened up huge opportunities. He explained, “Controlling our platform means we have control over our destiny in terms of market entries, and we’ll be able to support new and existing partners across even more markets as well as enter new and exciting regions.”

I couldn’t be happier to see Anthony being promoted to chief commercial officer. Such a rapid promotion is evidence of his hard work and the amazing results he’s achieved in the last year. It’s also a great testament to our vision and strategy of promoting and developing our employees, always encouraging and allowing them to expand their skills and take on more responsibility.
