The software developer cited Bulgaria’s surging online gaming popularity as the driving force behind its decision to launch the jackpot solution in the region.
Despite regulatory hurdles, Bulgaria’s iGaming industry is experiencing rapid expansion, driven by a growing user base and robust revenue growth. By 2028, revenues are expected to reach €168.7 million, increasing at a 5.42% CAGR, with users projected to hit 377,300.
We are seeing a strong surge in interest in our jackpot mechanic, fueled by the growing demand for engagement tools in the market. That’s why we are committed to further developing the Jackpot Aggregator, enhancing its features, and expanding into new markets. Certification for the Bulgarian market is a clear testament to our ambition and drive for expansion. We are actively working on obtaining certifications in other jurisdictions.
SOFTSWISS Solidifies Global Footprint
SOFTSWISS’ expansion of its Jackpot Aggregator into Bulgaria builds on the company’s earlier market entry, which saw its Casino Platform, Game Aggregator, and Sportsbook solutions go live with Topwin.bg in May.
Bulgaria adds to the long list of jurisdictions that SOFTSWISS has secured certification and successfully gained a foothold. The provider holds various international and national licenses and certifications, including South African approval via its majority stake in Turfsport.
In April, SOFTSWISS appointed Rubens Barrichello as a Non-Executive Director in Latin America to fuel its expansion in the region, particularly Brazil, where the provider aims to secure a software provider license.
