Sportingtech Appoints Paul Jerram to the Role of Head of Compliance

Sportingtech, the tier 1 betting and gaming platform provider, has announced the company has appointed Paul Jerram to the role of Head of Compliance.

Jerram is an industry veteran and Sportingtech hopes to utilize his experience in the sports betting and online casino market, regarding gaming compliance in the industry.

His role at Sportingtech will be to steer the company through the legislative process as it launches its sportsbook and online casino services into newly regulated markets throughout the world.

Jerram’s latest role was as Head of Internal Audits and Standards at SportingGrouo, where he spent the last 5 years in the industry.

Before working in the gaming industry, Jerram worked in the financial services sector and gained a wealth of experience working in an industry with a history of ever-changing regulations.

I’m delighted to be joining Sportingtech, particularly in the run-up to the World Cup. It’s all hands on deck and a deeply exciting time, and I can’t wait to help maximise the gains we secure from a compliance perspective as the company continues to expand at pace. Sportingtech has clearly built up a great deal of momentum in recent months, and I expect the next phase of the company’s development to be extremely busy and gratifying.

Quantum is the core product at Sportingtech and the platform gives operators access to over 1000 betting events, with 65 sports available and featuring more than 9000 games titles. Sportingtech hopes Verram will have a positive impact on the Quantum platform, making sure the company’s main product is available in all jurisdictions.

As the opportunities in emerging and regulating markets continue to abound, it’s never been more important for operators to have a firm grasp on the nuances of compliance within these jurisdictions as they continue to evolve. With that in mind, we couldn’t be happier to welcome Paul Jerram to the team, whose background is exactly what we need to continue to navigate the choppy and changing waters of compliance along with our partner operators.
