It has been revealed that the major software brand Tally Technology has partnered with NSX in a bid to supply a new free-to-play prediction game that is aimed at domestic and international football fixtures.

The almost revolutionary concept is being labeled as a “Brazilian sports betting ecosystem”, and initially, it has been proposed by NSX that it will focus initially on two games each week. In order to garner interest, prizes will include free bets for potential punters. These are understood to be provided by the group’s partner, Betnacional.

Over the course of the last year, sports betting in Brazil has been on the rise and there is much confidence that this is a market that can catapult its way to the top of the LATAM (Latin American) sports betting sphere.

Unique Initiative Garnering Substantial Optimism?

This, albeit a new idea in the Brazilian market, at least, has been met with cautious positivity, and there appears to be a feeling that it can help to gather wider sports betting interest around the country.

We are always looking for new ways to engage with Brazilian football fans, and Tally’s platform provides us with the perfect opportunity to do exactly that through a fun and free-to-play predictions game. We look forward to the games going live and believe it will be greeted enthusiastically by supporters while also delivering considerable traffic to our partners.

Sport, particularly football, has always had a significant amount of interest in Brazil among fans, driven by the country’s success on a global level. While the regulation of the online betting industry in the country is relatively new, it is being billed as being one of the possibly most potent markets in the world over the next few years - especially in terms of revenue.

How Will the Market React?

What is important to remember is that the online sports betting market in Brazil is relatively new when compared to more mature countries in this industry. As a result, such an initiative may well bear fruit - especially over the short term from a customer acquisition perspective, which means that Tally Tech could have stumbled on an ingenious marketing tactic.

Certainly, football interest in Brazil remains as strong as it has ever been, and the availability of new verticals to predict games on, such as the English Premier League and various other popular competitions in Europe, could further help to increase interest.

Aided also by the fact that there is a strong contingent of Brazilian players plying their trade in Europe, it could mean that possible match predictions are centered around this, thus increasing the chances of further registrations.

While to many who are accustomed to the sports betting industry, this may seem like an unoriginal idea, for Brazil at least, it could well pave the way for NSX to become a major brand in the country.
