Alina Dandorfer, Director and Co-founder at Apparat Gaming, added: “It’s a real vindication of everything we’ve worked for. And with Yolo’s backing, we can achieve even great, great things.”

Momentum Continues for Apparat

This latest news for Apparat Gaming represents a positive last few weeks for the software provider after it signed an agreement with United Remote for the integration of all of its game catalog onto its impressive platform.

“We have been working with United Remote for many months now, so it made sense to join forces with them as our first game aggregator partner,” said Apparat Gaming Co-Founder and Director Thomas Wendt following the conclusion of the deal.

“United Remote has partnered with leading B2B and B2C businesses and brands, so it is great to see our games line up alongside those from tier-one developers and to now be available to popular sportsbook and casino brands in key Malta markets.”

We are always looking to add quality content to our portfolio, and in Apparat Gaming, we have a partner that delivers this quality but also a unique player experience thanks to its approach to creating games with a German accent. This is a great partnership for United Remote, but most importantly for our operator partners and, of course, their players.

The German-based software and content provider has been making waves in the iGaming industry over the last couple of years, while it has also secured a license with the MGA (Malta Gaming Authority).

With Darndorfer being quoted as saying that YOLO only “invest in the best”, this is certainly a major compliment for the software provider, and considering the latest developments, there is no doubt that this has added major weight to the investment decision.

Software Providers Becoming Big Business

In the online gambling industry, software providers have been at the forefront for the best part of a decade, emerging as one of the major influencers as far as operators are concerned.

Their ability to shape and even mold the future of the iGaming industry over the last decade, especially with advancements in technology that have helped with the development of new slots.

It is likely that this will continue over the next decade, especially as more and more operators launch and new markets open up, which will pave the way for further potential investment deals.

When it comes to deals in the software niche of the industry, it is usually in the form of a merger or acquisition involving another software provider, with this being quite common over the last five years.

That said, there is certainly space in the market for software providers that have a unique offering, with Apparat being a prime example of this - creating content that appeals especially to the German market or fans of the German market.

What will be interesting over the next couple of years is what Apparat has in mind from an expansion perspective and whether it veers into new markets, such as the US or the swiftly growing LATAM (Latin America). With investment behind them, they will no doubt already have strategic plans for this and, as such, fans should certainly be excited.
