Affinity Interactive (AI), the online gaming and casino resort operator and part of the Z Capital Group, has announced it has appointed Scott Butera to the roles of President & CEO of the business.

LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Butera is a gaming industry veteran with over three decades of experience in this area, with an in-depth knowledge of the gaming, hospitality, media, entertainment, and sports sectors. Before his move to CEO, Butera has spent several years leading the company’s Sports Information Group (SIG). While leading SIG he was instrumental in improving the group's performance, with significant growth in market share and revenue.
Before joining AI Butera held many key leadership roles at globally recognized companies including MGM Resorts International, Fubo TV, Foxwoods Resort & Casino, and Tropicana Entertainment.
Scott’s operating acumen and deep knowledge of the gaming and entertainment industries have helped AI and Sports Information Group expand product offerings and improve the sports and gaming experience for consumers around the world, I am confident Scott will integrate seamlessly into this expanded role, and under his leadership, Affinity will achieve greater success, continuing to deliver world-class experiences to nearly 1 million users and guests across platforms.

Expanded Role to Oversee Digital and Casino Resort Platforms
AI states it has tasked its new CEO with overseeing the company’s retail and digital platforms. The company boasts it has more than one million users combined on its online offering and guests at its casino resorts in North America.
The business has stated it wants to focus on using technology to enhance its online and retail portfolio. In his new role, Scott Butera has specifically been tasked with utilizing his experience to lead operations at the company’s casinos resorts across Nevada, Missouri, and Iowa.
Additionally, the new CEO will be in charge of all media output from the company through its print and media platforms. This includes the Affinity Interactive Daily Racing Form offering.
