BetMGM Becomes Latest Beneficiary of RG Check Accreditation
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:
The Responsible Gambling Council has acknowledged BetMGM’s efforts to responsible gaming and player protection efforts in North America by awarding the company the RG Check certification.
RG Check is one of the most extensive accreditation programs of responsible gambling measures. The RGC develops the program in consultation with policymakers, gambling providers, players, and people who have been victims of gambling harm.
According to the council, the accreditation process helps gambling operators evaluate, monitor and manage all aspects of their RG strategy as well as protect players from gambling-related problems.
The council put BetMGM through a strict evaluation process before awarding the operator the top-notch accreditation. Several aspects of BetMGM’s operations were reviewed in the process, including its responsible gaming policies and procedures, staff training, and player protection tools.
BetMGM’s US, Ontario, and Borgata online brands were subject to the accreditation.
This accreditation is a testament to our ongoing efforts to promote responsibility throughout our business and to ensure the well-being of our customers. We will continue to work closely with the RGC and other industry partners to promote a culture of safe and enjoyable gambling.
BetMGM has consistently proven its commitment to promoting healthy play and responsible gambling. Last year, the brand partnered with its parent company MGM MGM Resorts International, to launch new tools that will help players make more responsible decisions while gambling online or offline at MGM properties.
Shelley White, the CEO of the Responsible Gambling Council, added, “We commend BetMGM for its dedication to promoting responsible gambling practices and its efforts to ensure the well-being of their players.”
