Betsson Granted Access to Cordoba after Regulatory Approval
European online gambling giant, Betsson has been approved to enter the province of Cordoba in Argentina, after it was granted a license to operate there.
This is somewhat of a landmark for the group, which is seeing its reputation swiftly grow in the country, with this being its third province.
It will see Betsson form a commercial alliance with land-based entity, Casino de Victoria which is part of Grupo Mautone, as is the law in the country, with external online brands needing to have a brick-and-mortar partner.
How Significant Is This for Betsson in Its LATAM Growth Strategy?
Over the last couple of years, the Swedish brand has witnessed considerable growth in a territory that is showing signs that it can be a key mover in the wider LATAM (Latin American) market.
Indeed, the brand’s business partnership dates back over one year, with both entities working together to launch operations in the Province of Buenos Aires and the City of Buenos Aires - two separate regulatory governances.

There is no doubt that the opportunities are there to potentially dominate, though it will be wary of the competition that it faces.
