Caesars Holds Opening Ceremonies for Two New Sportsbooks in Louisiana

Caesars Entertainment, the largest gaming and entertainment company in the US, has opened sportsbooks and a poker room in two of its casinos in Louisiana.

The Harrah's New Orleans casino is one of the locations to welcome the brand new sportsbook, as well as a World Series of Poker room at the location. While the other casino to debut the new Caesars Sportsbook is the Horseshoe Bossier City casino and resort.

Both casinos held opening ceremonies to mark the launch of the sportsbooks, with staff, and members of the public in attendance., There was also a guest of honour at the events to place the first wager at the sportsbook.

The Harrah's New Orleans casino is going to be transformed into Caesars New Orleans as part of a $325 million project to be completed by 2024. The new sportsbook at the venue is a significant milestone in this process. The sportsbook is set in an area of 5,700 square feet, with 12 self-service betting terminals and a large video wall showing all the latest sporting events. Plus, the WSOP room has 20 poker tables in a 5,000 square feet area.

The Caesars Sportsbook at the Horseshoe Bossier City casino is set in a generous 6,900-square-foot area. The gaming facilities at the venue include 15 self-service betting kiosks and 3 betting windows. Players can watch sporting events in the VIP lounge, on the 90-plus TVs, and enjoy refreshments at the bar.
