Caesars Unveil Mobile Sportsbook App in Maryland

Caesars Entertainment has gone live with its mobile sportsbook app in Maryland as the state prepares to open its regulated sports betting market.

With the latest development, bettors and sports gambling enthusiasts in Maryland can now download the Caesars Sportsbook app on their mobile devices or access the website through their desktops.

Although they won’t be able to place bets until the market launches, signing up early and depositing funds on the site will make them eligible for a special offer of free bets and bonus cash.

The Maryland Sports Wagering Application Review Commission (SWARC) ended its license application process last month, a move that precedes the actualization of a mobile sports wagering market in the jurisdiction.

While online betting is yet to become a thing in Maryland, the state has legalized retail sports betting since December 2021. Leveraging this law, Caesars started operating in-person sports betting at a retail sportsbook facility at its Horseshoe Casino Baltimore property late last year.

The operator has also partnered with the Maryland-based NFL team, the Baltimore Ravens, in a deal that saw its sportsbook become the premier sports betting partner of the franchise, with Horseshoe Casino Baltimore as its official casino partner.
