Canadian Gaming Association Add New BetMGM and Aristocrat Board Members

Scott Woodgate, Vice President (Canada) at BetMGM, and Kurt Gissane, the SVP of Sales for North America at Aristocrat Gaming, have become the latest members of the board of directors at the Canadian Gaming Association.

Scott Woodgate is a leading content professional with several years of experience in the industry. He has held leadership and production positions at top firms in the UK and US, like Rogers Sportsnet and CTV News, where he delivered across areas like editorial, production, and strategy. He has also served as a content and production executive at the streaming giant DAZN.

Kurt Gissane has gathered more than 20 years of experience working in the gaming industry across Asia, North America, and Australia. His current responsibilities at Aristocrat include supervising the company's tribal gaming unit, handling different types of gaming, such as Class 3, Class 2, CD, ATLS, VLT/VGT, and GACOAM, and exploring new markets.

I want to thank Scott Woodgate and Kurt Gissane for accepting these positions, which will play an important role in supporting the growth and sustainability of Canada’s gaming industry, and I have confidence that their diverse experiences will be valuable to the Association as it delivers on its mandate.

Serving as a collective voice for the gaming industry in Canada, the CGA represents various sectors, including casinos, horse racing, online gaming, and lottery corporations. It advocates for its members on policy development and regulatory matters and also promotes responsible gambling initiatives.
