DraftKings Opens Permanent Sportsbook at Louisiana Golden Nugget Casino
DraftKings, the sports betting operator, is to open a permanent DraftKings Sportsbook at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles casino in Louisiana.
The new sportsbook will replace the current temporary sportsbook operating at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles casino, part of Fertitta Entertainment. The sportsbook is due to launch at the beginning of September this year, to coincide with the start of the season for several major US sports, particularly the NFL.
Just in time for football season, we look forward to offering our guests the excitement of live games in an immersive audio-visual experience, We believe this DraftKings Sportsbook will raise the standards in sports betting and offer an unparalleled entertainment experience.
The new DraftKings Sportsbook will be located in a 12,000-square-foot area, with 300 lounge chairs in a 3,000-square-foot venue containing numerous LED displays, showing live sporting events and keeping players updated with global sporting results.
Located in the Sportsbook venue there will be 5 betting cages where players can place bets on live events, including those displayed at the lounge. Customers can also enjoy 16 video poker games and 3 gaming tables. There are also several betting kiosks for players to make sporting wagers at a variety of locations situated in the casino.
The sportsbook will be open daily until late in the evening and customers will have a variety of dining options from several menus at the restaurant in the Sports lounge at the Golden Nugget casino.
