DraftKings to Open a Sportsbook in Puerto Rico
DraftKings is to open a new Sportsbooks venue in the Foxwoods El San Juan Casino resort in Puerto Rico. The Foxwoods Casinos are operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, and this will deepen the links between the two after the companies first partnered last year.

This will be the second DraftKings sportsbook to be opened in a Foxwoods casino, following a similar venue that opened in the Foxwoods casino in Connecticut last November.
Since establishing our relationship with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and Foxwoods more than a year ago, we’ve seen immense success, which can be attributed to the collaborative efforts between the organizations and shared vision for providing customers with the very best. Puerto Rico is known for its rich and vibrant sports culture, and we look forward to being able to provide fans with a safe and legal form of sports betting through our retail and online sportsbooks.
The new sportsbook area is part of a $137.5m refurbishment at the Puerto Rico casino and is due to open in the next few weeks. The DraftKings sportsbook venue will consist of a bar, dining area, a video wall, two counter ticket windows, and six betting kiosks.
