Duelbits Becomes Title Sponsor of WST 2023 Events
Crypto casino and sportsbook Duelbits has signed a sponsorship agreement with The World Snooker Tour to become the title sponsor of the 2023 Duelbits Series.
Under the terms of the agreement, Duelbits will sponsor all three events in the series, starting with the Duelbits World Grand Prix in Cheltenham from January 16 through January 22, the Duelbits Players Championship in Wolverhampton held between February 20 and February 26, and the Duelbits Tour Championship in Hull from March 27 to April 2, 2023.
Snookers fanbase in the UK will be able to stream the events live via ITV, a new streaming service in the jurisdiction. The three events will also benefit from coverage from other broadcasters in different parts of the world.
We are thrilled to bring Duelbits on board for the first time for three of our biggest tournaments. This series of events is unique because the players qualify through their performances during the season, so the players on form are rewarded, and we are sure to see snooker of the highest quality. Our sport has a massive global audience, including tremendous viewing figures to a free-to-air UK fanbase on ITV. Duelbits have recognized this opportunity to grow its brand and join our journey as we continue to grow worldwide. We look forward to working with them through this series.
Founded in February 2020, Duelbits rode on the rising popularity of online gambling and esports during the COVID-19 pandemic to strengthen its position in the crypto-gaming space. The casino allows users to play various casino games like roulette, blackjack, and craps with crypto.
We are absolutely thrilled to partner with WST to bring you the Duelbits Series. As Steve mentions, this series rewards the best 32 players throughout the season, and we see this as an ideal opportunity to grow our audience with one of the most prestigious brands in Worldwide Sport.
In August 2022, Duelbits reached an agreement with Aston Villa FC to become its Official Betting Partner. One month after, it signed a long-term partnership with the Argentine Football Association (AFA).
