Everi Agrees to Acquire Atlas Gaming’s Strategic Assets

Financial services company Everi Holdings has started the process of acquiring certain strategic assets and intellectual property (IP) from Atlas Gaming in a deal expected to complete in the next 60 days.

The acquisition will see Everi take charge of Atlas Gaming’s game development technology, IP of proprietary gaming products and content, as well as a wide range of titles.

The terms of the acquisition will also include Atlas’ engineering and development staff joining Everi’s team.

According to Everi, the deal will allow the company to further enter and expand in new international markets.

Everi Holdings was formed in 2015 through a merger of financial services company Global Cash Access and gaming supplier Multimedia Games. The company offers its customers a vast collection of financial services tools to enable secure transactions and make credit and debit transactions more efficient. They also help protect against money laundering. Everi features an entertainment division that develops gaming content via its three studios, gaming systems, and cabinets.
