Fulham Signs an Agreement to Make W88 Its Shirt Sponsor Next Season
As Fulham Football Club returns to the English Premier League, the newly promoted side has signed a main sponsorship agreement with W88.
As part of the deal W88, the global betting company will have its logo displayed on the shirts of the men’s and women’s teams for this coming season. W88 will also see the company branding visible through LED displays, and via digital and social media platforms.
This record sponsorship deal for Fulham will see W88 have a continued presence with an audience of 3 billion people, who enjoy the Premier League competition.

W88 are not new to the sponsorship of Premier League sides in the English game, and this deal comes shortly after Crystal Palace removed the W88 branding from their shirts and discontinued the sponsorship agreement between the two parties. This is because there is growing pressure on football clubs in the United Kingdom to turn away from the lucrative sponsorship deals with sports betting and gaming companies.
The English Premier League clubs are to advise their member clubs not to partner with gaming companies in a voluntary arrangement. However, it seems to be only a matter of time before legislation is introduced that will ban betting firm logos from appearing on Premier League club shirts.
