IGT Teams Up with National Lottery to Power the Malta Lottery
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:International Game Technology (IGT), the lottery and gaming services provider, has signed a long-term deal with National Lottery Plc, a subsidiary of IZI Group and the operator of the state lottery in Malta. IGT has also entered into an arrangement to print instant tickets for a lottery game in another 10-year deal that will run until 2032.
IGT boasts a world-class solution in lottery technology and retail services and is the preferred provider for eight out of ten of the largest lotteries in the world.
Both parties have combined to introduce an extra day of the LOTTO game, as this is the most successful game run by National Lottery Plc.
There are also plans to launch two new games into the lottery market in Malta, called Pick 3 and Super 5 4-3-2-1. This innovation signals the first new games in ten years for lottery players in the region.
In a shake-up to the instant range of lottery games, IGT and National Lottery plan to expand the offering and will attempt to double the size of the retailer network.
