John Worthington Joins Jackpocket as Its First Ever VP of Interactive Gaming
Jackpocket has appointed John Worthington to the role of VP of Interactive Gaming at the company, and he is to lead the company's iGaming expansion. Jackpocket is an official third-party app that gives players the chance to buy US lottery tickets.
Worthington takes on the newly created post has come from the role of General Manager of Gamewise. Jackpocket believes Worthington's vast industry experience will help lead the introduction of new products into the iGaming market.
While serving as General Manager at Gamewise, Worthington played a key role in bringing the company's sportsbook to the US markets earlier this year. He also had previous leadership roles at Parx Casino and Penn Interactive Ventures, where he helped launch several online products.
We are thrilled to welcome John and tap into his extensive leadership, operational, and regulatory experience to usher Jackpocket's expansion into casino and other iGaming products. Jackpocket is gearing up to launch its online casino service in the New Jersey market and is scheduling this for some time in 2023. This follows a string of sporting partnerships Jackpocket has signed in recent months to raise its profile and generate client awareness, including becoming digital lottery partner of the Colorado Rockies.
