Yggdrasil Releases Vikings Go to Valhalla Slot

Yggdrasil has announced the release of Vikings Go To Valhalla slot and claims that it is one of the company’s “most epic releases to date”.

The Yggdrasil slot tells the story of Vikings protecting the Hall of Heroes as it comes under attack by the snake king Jörmungandr. Players join Gunnar, a brave warrior, as he fights to protect Asgard and has the chance to earn great rewards.

Players build rage points in the base game in order to trigger the Berzerker mode. Each winning combination that features a Viking symbol collects rage points, and if a warrior’s meter is filled, then the Berzerk respins begin.

In the respins, all the Vikings on the reels fight Jörmungandr, and after a successful attack, they are transformed into sticky wilds. The triggering Viking will be in Berzerk mode and will always win the fight when present on the reels. The respins continue until no fights are won.

Furthermore, treasure chests can land at any time to award a variety of prizes, while landing three scatters triggers the free spins. The free spins come with modifiers such as wilds, wild reels, or a Berzerk Viking. Every Viking that lands during the round battles the Midgard Serpent, and if they win, they become a sticky wild for the duration of the spins.

At the end of the round, the Ragnarök Wheel is triggered. If the reel stops on a golden segment, then players can advance, and if they make it through six rounds, Ragnarök Free Spins are awarded. During these spins, all of the Vikings are Berzerk, which can result in massive payouts.
