Klas Winberg has been announced as the new CCO at Videoslots, the online casino operator. Winberg has been working in the iGaming industry for more than twenty years and has held positions at companies such as Betfair, Catena, Raketech, and Expekt.

Leaving Play North

Winberg’s last job was as CEO of Play North, where he guided the company through a period of growth and expansion, introducing new departmental structures and helping to develop the brand.

The appointment of Winberg as CCO comes just after it was revealed that Anna Komemi will become the company’s new COO.

We are thrilled to have someone of such caliber join our ranks. His proven success in the iGaming industry will undoubtedly elevate our team's strategic vision and drive future accomplishments even further.

Speaking about his new job, Winberg described Videoslots as a company he has “followed with admiration in terms of being a leader in games offering, industry expertise and customer engagement.” He added that he is excited to work with the company’s team as they work to grow.

Recent Partnerships for Videoslots

Today’s announcement comes after the operator signed a number of partnerships, including one with Games Global that will see Mr Vegas Games Global operate live dealer gaming on the site through OnAir Entertainment.

At the end of last year, Sweden’s gambling regulator awarded Videoslots a five-year extension to its license but also hit it with a SEK 9 million penalty for failures in its AML protocol. That came after the UKGC reached a settlement with Videoslots for £2 million in June of last year.
