Dr. Rigbye is a chartered psychologist and a fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health. She has worked in the field of gambling addiction for fifteen years and, as such, brings a vast amount of experience to the role. Her experience includes nine years in senior leadership roles at GambleAware, including as Prevention Director.

In the past, Dr. Rigbye has worked in the NHS and contributed to research addressing many aspects of public health in gaming and gambling. She has also been a trustee of a children’s mental health charity overseeing communications and fundraising, and she is currently a school governor with lead responsibility for safeguarding.
