Evolution Launches NFT Megaways Slot with CryptoPunks

Evolution Gaming (STO: EVO) has announced that it has incorporated four CryptoPunks that it purchased earlier this year into a new innovative online slot, the first game to feature NFTs (non-fungible tokens).

The four CryptoPunks can be found in the new NFT Megaways, a game that was developed by the Evolution-owned Red Tiger. The characters are unique, highly collectible, and are among the earliest examples of NFTs. Their proof of ownership is on the Ethereum blockchain.

The slot itself features six reels, up to seven rows, and a massive number of winning ways. It is based upon a unique crypto pixelated world that will be familiar to anyone interested in NFTs. The CryptoPunks 914, 3008, 4701, and 8143 are at the heart of the game. The characters created by Larva Labs will help players multiply their winnings on every spin.

They act as wild symbols and can only land on the CryptoPunks Bar. When one lands and helps to form a low-value winning combination, the CryptoPunk collects the symbols from the win. This increases the CryptoPunk’s payout multiplier by x1 for each low-value symbol collected. This way, the multiplier can grow up to x30. Better yet, if two CryptoPunks land in the same winning combination, then their multipliers are multiplied together, which means that it could be as large as x900.
