North American Gambling Experts to Help Shape ICE London 2023
Clarion Gaming has announced that more than 200 gambling industry professionals have accepted invitations to the ICE London 2023 Ampersand event, which is taking place on October 10, the first day of the G2E at Top Golf Las Vegas.
The event, which is based on the Open Space format, comes after the ICE Symposium in July that was held together with the European Casino Association at London’s Les Ambassedeurs Casino.
The upcoming Ampersand event will bring together leaders, influencers ad innovators from North America’s gambling industry for a day of talks, networking and socializing. There will be a number of discussion on topics suggested by the participants and there will be a special reception celebrating Ampersand’s return to Las Vegas after two years.
We will be using the tried and tested Open Space format that we have successfully used in other events, most recently the ICE Symposium held in London earlier this year, as well as the many Ampersand meetings that we have held in both London and in Las Vegas. Open Space has an ‘un-conference’ format, in which participants build the agenda at the start of the meeting and then discuss in a series of free-flowing conversations throughout the day without speakers or moderators. The idea is that everyone is empowered to contribute with their thoughts, opinions and experience, drawing on the wealth of experience of all of the attendees, rather than a small group of expert speakers. This is a format that’s conducive to networking drawing on meaningful conversations and shared challenges.
Bakun went on to say that the insights arising from Open Space meetings are invaluable in planning the ICE experience as they reveal actual customer needs, which in turn ensures that the events remain relevant to the industry.
